Memories:
Ronnie was always so nice to me since I met her a few years ago. She always had a warm smile. She asked where I had been-she hadn't seen me in the book dept during sort days(steady job so there later in day). So sweet. A few months ago, she gave me coupons for Olive Garden since I had not saved mine. She had them right in her car, in a coupon organizer. More efficient than me! I was chatting with her since she was blocked in on the side of the church and had to wait. Sometimes, I would help her get out of her spot if she needed help. I will miss her at mass, the sale, and coffee hour. Love to her family, especially Susan who I have met, and the granddaughter who I met once.
I worked at SJFC from 1977 to 1983 in the Continuing Education Department, that's how I knew Ronnie. I have seen her here and there over the years most recently at Tops Markets in Penfield with her son. She remembered me and we had a nice chat (I think this was in February). She told me about her stroke and we talked about our families. It was great to see her, she looked the same as I remembered her. She was always nice to me at Fisher and was a sweet lady. I was very sad to hear of her passing. I cannot make it to the service because I care for my young grandsons daily but I wanted to send my sympathy. I will always remember her fondly, she will be missed. I remember Sue the most from when she attended Fisher. Don't know if she remembers me. I am keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
So sorry for your loss. I know this is a very difficult time for the family. Something that has always given me comfort is a scripture at Revelation 21:4, it says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” I sincerely hope this brings you some comfort.
Our deepest sympathy.
